Top Quality Porcelain Bathtub Refinishing in Roswell GA

This is a Porcelain Bathtub TubMaster refinished in Roswell GA. We removed the shower glass doors at customers request. The caulk surrounding bathtub was removed so coating would cover edges of bathtub that meet tile wall. Bathub was then cleaned and etched to insure proper bonding of new coating. Drain and overflow cover were removed to be replaced after refinishing process.Due to a rubber mat used in bathtub the bottom Porcelain had eroded down to the metal base. There was also eroded areas on top front ledge and top corners. After a thorough drying process these areas had to be filled with Bondo and sanded smooth. Tile walls and floor were covered with masking tape, paper and plastic drop cloths. The toilet, counter top and mirror were also covered to insure no overspray damage to these areas.The bathtub was refinished with 4 coats of a premium Porcelain Bathtub Coating. All tape, paper and plastic was removed after refinishing complete. We returned when coating was cured to install new drain and overflow cover. Final step of project was to recaulk around bathtub. This is important as it seals edges of coating preventing chance of peeling and lifting around edges.
